Metalite's Portable Runway Edge Light, the COREL, receives FAA Certification
Following recent testing at Detroit Testing Laboratories Metalite's COREL edge light has passed both the environmental and photometric requirements of the FAA's specification for portable runway lights contained in circular AC 5345-50A.
This new accreditation will allow US airports to receive funding to purchase the CALKIT system under the Airports Improvement Program.
Two US airports, Phoenix Sky Harbour International and Norfolk International, have already purchased CALKIT™ systems.
