Portable helipad landing lights used on civil helipad.

Portable helipad landing lights used to form a typical helipad for civil application.

Metalite's helipad landing lights can be used to provide a portable helipad touch down and lift off area suitable for temporary or emergency use. The helicopter may govern the size of the helipad and hence the number of portable landing lights to be deployed at the recommended spacing of 3m or 5m. Where there is a preferred approach direction portable unidirectional approach lights can be deployed and in certain conditions the use of portable PAPIs can add significantly to pilot safety.
