The FINNISH Air Force (FIAF) Procures MOSKIT

After successful demonstrations and trials, which took place in Finland in 2001, Metalite is to supply the Finnish Air Force (FIAF) with MOSKIT (Minimum Operating Strip Lighting Kit). The FIAF undertook tests of the system during VFR and NVG nighttime operations using F-18 Hornet and Hawk aircraft.

Finland is the fourth Scandinavian country and the second Partner for Peace (PFP) to procure MOSKIT. It joins fifteen other countries that use MOSKIT as their primary tactical portable airfield lighting system.

MOSKIT will be used to support airfield operations around Finland in some of the most extreme arctic conditions.
